Sub Tuum Praesidium

We fly to thy patronage, O holy Mother of God; Despise not our petitions in our necessities, but deliver us always from all dangers, O glorious and blessed Virgin. Amen.

TFP “Protect Our Children” was the Cry from More than 1,200 Public Rosary Rallies Held Across the Nation

by ANF

America’s public sidewalks became places of prayer this past week as parents, grandparents, and supporters met to pray to God for the protection of children from porn and LGBTQ materials in libraries and schools. The 1,223 public rosary rallies asked Our Blessed Mother for help protecting children who are exposed directly and indirectly to destructive, sexualized books in classrooms and libraries. Organized through America Needs Fatima, these rallies were a cry to God and to fellow Americans to open their eyes, understand what is happening to our children, and stand up against this evil.

Rally-goers also prayed for elected officials to enact measures that protect children from exposure to inappropriate materials. At both the federal and state levels, discussions continue regarding policies related to educational content in schools and libraries. These ongoing conversations reflect the concerns expressed by many families and community members. Public prayer lifts these efforts and encourages civic engagement to support the protection of children.

O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee.
O Blessed Virgin Mary, Our Lady of Walsingham, Mother of God and our most gentle Queen and Mother, look down in mercy upon us, our parish, our country, our homes, and our families, and upon all who greatly hope and trust in thy prayers. By thee it was that Jesus, our Saviour and hope, was given to the world; and He has given thee to us that we may hope still more. Plead for us your children, whom thou didst receive and accept at the foot of the Cross, O sorrowful Mother. Intercede for our separated brethren, that with us in the one true fold they may be united to the Chief Shepherd, the Vicar of thy Son. Pray for us all, dear Mother, that by faith, fruitful in good works, we all may be made worthy to see and praise God, together with thee in our heavenly home. Amen.
