Grandmothers' Rosary for Families

At Saint John Henry Newman, Victoria, a Catholic community of the Personal Ordinariate of the Chair of Saint Peter, grandmothers gather on Wednesdays after Mass and pray the Holy Rosary for families. They add the following prayer to the list of requests for Our Lady's intercession.

Dear Holy Mother Mary, we gather this morning as grandmothers and friends, with our guardian angels, to bring to you, Holy Mother, all the cares and concerns of our families. Please protect them from the traps of Satan. Please turn their hearts to your Son, Jesus. And please, beg of the Eternal Father, grace for them to know and honour Him as Creator and Lord of all! We lift up our families and ask for your intercession.
